Ticket count reports for venues
If your venue sells through Eventbrite or Universe, TicketCounts.io emails each show's ticket count to the artist team, the promoter and your own staff on a schedule, one report per show. Reports show ticket counts, never revenue or buyer details.

Recipients
Who gets which count?
Each show gets its own report, so an artist team only ever sees its own show, and your staff can get every show. The table has starting points for the usual recipients; every report can use any days, time and time zone, and recipients never need an account or a login.
| Recipient | What they need | A schedule that works |
|---|---|---|
| Artist manager and agent | The count for their show | Daily, 9:00 AM in their time zone |
| Promoter or co-promoter | The count for the shows they are on | Daily or weekly |
| Your marketing team | Counts to plan ads and on-sale pushes | Weekly on Monday |
| Box office and door staff | Where each show stands before doors | Custom days in show week |
Counts, not money
Can we share counts without showing revenue?
Yes. Reports show tickets sold, with the change since the last report and a breakdown by ticket type, and nothing about money or buyers. You can also choose to show only paid or only free tickets, for example when comps are issued as free tickets. Artist teams see how the show is selling without seeing the money.
In a report
- The event name
- Tickets sold, by ticket type (Eventbrite) or paid and free (Universe)
- The change since the last report
- Your venue logo (paid plans)
- An unsubscribe link
Never in a report
- Revenue, fees or payouts
- Buyer or attendee names and emails
- Orders or payment details
- Your ticketing login

What does the artist team receive?
An email from your venue's name via TicketCounts.io, one copy per recipient, with the current count for their show: tickets sold, with the change since the last report and a breakdown by ticket type. On paid plans it carries your venue's logo. Replies come back to you, and each recipient can unsubscribe from any report.

In every report

- The change since the previous report, from the second report on.
- The percent of capacity sold, when the platform reports the event's capacity.
- You choose whether each report shows paid tickets, free tickets or both.
- One copy per recipient, so nobody sees the other addresses.
- Replies go to you, the account holder.
- An unsubscribe link in every email, plus one-click unsubscribe in mail apps that support it.
- Your logo on paid plans; the TicketCounts.io header on Free.

Setup
How do we set it up?
Connect your ticketing account once, then set up each show: pick the event, add the artist team and your own staff, and choose the days, time and time zone. The report runs until the show ends or is canceled, then pauses on its own. Nobody you add needs an account.
Step 1: Connect Eventbrite or Universe
Choose Connect in your dashboard and sign in on the platform's own page (OAuth). TicketCounts.io stores the access token encrypted and only reads data; it never creates or edits events, orders or ticket types. You can connect more than one account per platform.
Step 2: Pick the show
Pick the organization (Eventbrite) or host (Universe), then search its events by name. Unlike Eventbrite's own scheduled reports (only events in the next 3 months, as of September 18, 2026), there is no date window: a show on sale for next spring can get a report today. One report covers one event.
Step 3: Add recipients and a schedule
Add up to 2 recipients on Free and up to 100 on the largest plan. Recipients do not need an account. Pick daily, one weekday or several weekdays, a time in 15-minute steps and the time zone the report follows.
Step 4: The count goes out
At the scheduled time TicketCounts.io reads the current count from the platform and emails each recipient their own copy, with your logo on paid plans. Send yourself a test first if you like. If the platform does not answer, no email goes out and the send is retried.
FAQ
Questions from venues
Can we share counts without showing revenue?
Yes. A TicketCounts.io report shows tickets sold, with the change since the last report and a breakdown by ticket type. It never includes revenue, fees, orders or buyer details, and you can choose to show only paid or only free tickets.
Do artist teams need a login?
No. Artist managers, agents and promoters only receive the email. They never get access to your ticketing account or to TicketCounts.io.
Can each show go to a different artist team?
Yes. Every show gets its own report with its own recipients, days, time and time zone, so each team only sees its own show.
Can recipients stop the emails?
Yes. Every report has an unsubscribe link, and each recipient gets their own copy, so nobody sees the other addresses.
We don't sell on Eventbrite or Universe. Can we still use it?
Not yet. TicketCounts.io connects to Eventbrite and Universe only. Tell us which platform you sell on from the integrations page and we email you once, if it goes live.
Do finished shows count toward our plan?
No. Reports for an event that has ended or been canceled pause on their own, and paused reports do not count toward the plan.
