Comps
Comps are complimentary tickets issued at no charge, for example to the artist, press, sponsors or staff.
Also called: complimentary tickets, comp tickets, guest list

Definition
Comps take up capacity but bring in no revenue, so they are reported separately from paid tickets and are usually capped in the artist contract. At settlement, comps are reconciled against the manifest.
Worked example
A 500-cap show with 430 paid tickets and 25 comps has 455 tickets issued and 45 left.
Illustrative numbers, not a real show.
In a TicketCounts.io report
A TicketCounts.io report does not identify comps by itself. Comps issued as their own $0 ticket type show on their own line in an Eventbrite report, and in the free total of a Universe report.
