What does TicketCounts.io read from Eventbrite?
Only what a count needs: the connected account, its organizations, your live events and each event's ticket classes with the quantity sold. It never reads attendees, buyers, orders or payouts, and it never changes anything in Eventbrite. The table lists every item, and the access note below explains the permission you grant.

Access and scopes
Eventbrite does not offer narrower OAuth scopes, so the approval lets the app call the Eventbrite API as your user. TicketCounts.io only sends read requests (GET) and never creates or edits events, orders or ticket types. Eventbrite OAuth: you sign in on eventbrite.com and approve TicketCounts.io. How are Eventbrite ticket counts calculated?
A report adds up the quantity sold across the event's admission ticket classes and lists each class with its sold count, plus its cap when Eventbrite sets one. Comps issued as their own $0 ticket type show on their own line. The count is read from Eventbrite when the report is sent, never estimated.
- Paid tickets are admission ticket classes with a price above 0; free tickets are admission ticket classes with a price of 0.
- Add-ons and donations are not counted.
- Every page of ticket classes is read, so events with many ticket types are counted in full.
- The report lists each admission ticket class by name with its tickets sold, and its cap when Eventbrite sets one.
- If Eventbrite does not return a sold count, the report is not sent; counts are never guessed or shown as 0.

What does an Eventbrite count report look like?
One email per recipient with the event, the tickets sold and a breakdown by ticket type, sent from your organization's name via TicketCounts.io. From the second report on, it also shows the change since the last one, and the percent of capacity when Eventbrite returns the event's capacity.

Setup
How do I connect Eventbrite?
4 steps in your dashboard, and nobody you send to needs an account. The first report goes out at the next time you scheduled; send yourself a test first if you want to see it straight away. You can change the recipients, days and time later without reconnecting.
Step 1: Open Integrations in your TicketCounts.io dashboard and choose Connect Eventbrite.
Step 2: Sign in to Eventbrite and approve the connection.
Step 3: Create a report: pick the organization and the event, add recipients and set the schedule.
Step 4: Optionally send yourself a test email first; the report then goes out on its schedule.

How many Eventbrite shows can I report on?
One active report per show. The Free plan runs 1 report at a time; paid plans run 10 to 100. Paused reports don't count, and a report pauses on its own after its event ends or is canceled, so the slot frees up for the next show. See pricing for everything each plan includes.

FAQ
Eventbrite integration questions
Which Eventbrite events can I report on?
Live and started events of the organization you choose, searchable by name. There is no date window: an event on sale in 6 months can be picked today. Reports for an event that has ended or been canceled pause on their own.
Can I connect more than one Eventbrite account or organization?
Yes. Connect as many Eventbrite accounts as you need. Each report is set up for one event from the account and organization you pick, so one login can run reports for shows from several organizations.
Why can a report differ slightly from my Eventbrite dashboard?
Each report reads the count at the moment it is sent. Eventbrite's API documentation says sold counts exclude tickets that are still being purchased, and that changes can take from 1 second to 5 minutes to appear, so an order placed just before a send can land in the next report.
Does TicketCounts.io change anything in my Eventbrite account?
No. TicketCounts.io only sends read requests to Eventbrite. It never creates or edits events, orders or ticket types, and it never reads attendee or buyer details.
What happens if I disconnect Eventbrite?
Eventbrite tokens do not expire. Disconnecting in TicketCounts.io deletes the stored token and pauses that account's reports. Stored tokens are encrypted (AES-256-GCM).
Do recipients need an Eventbrite login?
No. Recipients only get the email. They don't need an Eventbrite login or a TicketCounts.io account, and each one can unsubscribe from any report.
