Definition

Which deductions come off GBOR to reach NBOR (sales tax, facility fees, ticketing fees, credit card fees) is set in the contract. Percentage and versus deals are then applied to NBOR, often after show expenses.

Formula

NBOR = GBOR − taxes − agreed fees

Worked example

A GBOR of $12,950 with $1,150 of taxes and $800 of facility fees gives an NBOR of $11,000.
