Ticket counts
Ticket counts are the number of tickets sold for a show at a point in time, shared by the promoter or venue with the artist team, agents and partners.

Definition
A ticket count is a snapshot of sales for one event: how many tickets are sold, often split by ticket type or price level, and sometimes with comps and holds. Promoters and venues send counts on a schedule (daily or weekly) to booking agents, artist managers, co-promoters and sponsors so everyone works from the same numbers.
Worked example
A promoter emails "412 sold of 500 cap, +38 since yesterday" to the booking agent every morning at 9:00.
